Roy Prieb

Roy Prieb is a technology entrepreneur with extensive experience in launching, growing, and operating new ventures. Roy’s recent work includes working as a COO/CFO and Co-Founder of Kleo Pharmaceuticals, a biotech company spun out of Yale University that develops novel immunotherapies to address unfulfilled medical needs. Roy worked to draft the company business plan (which subsequently won the inaugural Boehringer Ingelheim Innovation Prize) and negotiated an exclusive license to commercialize Yale intellectual property for drug development. He also successfully secured $13 million Series A financing led by Biohaven Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: BHNM) to begin operations, and recruited a senior management team.

Roy has experience as an independent technology consultant. He offers consulting to business clients on online growth opportunities and venture financing strategies. Roy has designed and developed prototypes for new SaaS-based services, delivering his skillset to a variety of clients, including Lillian August Designs, Columbia University, Clos-ette, Concrete Pictures, and Ziff-David Media. Roy’s venture-related accomplishments are a testament to his expertise and skills as a proficient technology consultant.
