This week LS Associates would like to spotlight our very own Sampada Phanse!

Sampada Phanse is an exceptional biotech and pharmaceutical executive with over 20+ years of industry experience.  She has a proven ability to configure a strategic operational plan to help companies prosper upon her arrival. She has been a trusted advisor as well as business partner to the CFO, CEO, and virtually the entire management team. Sampada has experience across a spectrum of accounting areas such as internal controls (SOX 404), software revenue recognition, currency translations, consolidations, stock-based compensation and S1-filing for IPO readiness. Sampada truly excels at streamlining processes, evaluating IT solutions, and handling implementations for unified global accounting. She is adept at building world class teams and being a strategic ‘playmaker’. Sampada is a proven leader with strong work ethics and efficiency, who performs exceptionally in fast-paced environments.

Sampada has previously held roles at Codexis, as their Director of International Accounting and SOX Compliance, where she managed the company’s global financial operations and all their internal controls.  She most recently worked as a Corporate Controller for MetricStream, a world leader in GRC and quality management solutions; there she completed 4 years of audits and trail balances at all their global locations, on top of streamlining a number of processes.  Sampada’s expertise is truly one of a kind and she helps serve LS Associates in Corporate Controller roles but, can do much more! We are lucky to have Sampada as a part of our team, her skillset is valuable in a countless number of ways.
